Whilst developing this genre-twisting pitch, it was important for me that I captured the nostalgic aesthetics of both the teen chick flick as well as the space-age thriller, all while orbiting them around modern day themes.

Pinpointing these visuals helped me discover the atmosphere of the film: a purple haze of disorientation and paranoia in which a young woman learns the true horrors of growing up.
